Backend Developer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and APIs that power our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with frontend developers, mobile app developers, designers, and product managers to build secure, high-performance, and reliable software solutions. As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in: - Building server-side logic, database architecture, authentication systems, and third-party integrations. - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful APIs. - Building secure authentication and authorization systems using JWT/OAuth. - Developing and optimizing database structures, queries, and relationships. - Integrating external APIs, payment gateways, and cloud-based services. - Collaborating with frontend and mobile developers for seamless integration. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and improving existing backend systems. - Writing reusable, clean, and well-documented code. - Implementing server-side validation, security, and performance optimizations. - Participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning. - Monitoring application performance and ensuring system reliability. - Assisting in deployment processes and CI/CD pipeline management. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 2+ years of professional backend development experience. - Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js. - Experience working with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. - Solid understanding of RESTful API architecture and best practices. - Familiarity with authentication methods such as JWT and OAuth. - Experience with Git version control and collaborative workflows. - Knowledge of Docker, cloud deployment, and server management. - Understanding of data structures, asynchronous programming, and scalability. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with TypeScript. - Familiarity with Redis or caching mechanisms. - Knowledge of microservices architecture. - Experience with WebSockets or real-time systems. - Understanding of AWS, Firebase, or DigitalOcean services. - Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
